Hi everyone! The idea of Catch emerged a couple of years ago; when a few of my closest friends and I began having ideas for singles events.  Conversations stemmed from listening to friends and family who would share the problems they experienced with dating apps and the lack of authenticity in the local dating pool. 

The shift in our world toward phones and apps has not only taken away from the actual human connection but has also hindered live contact and damaged countless relationships. The idea that ‘people are products’ has created a disturbing new reality that leads us to questions like; "What is the most authentic, least forced way to meet someone these days?" and "What could make it more efficient and FUN?" We did some testing and heard the same stories over and over; illustrating a need for something new, something more, and something real.
A bit about my personal history…I’ve been fascinated by the complexities of the human mind, social interactions, and observing dynamics in human relationships since I was pretty little. By high school, my passion for subjects involving Neuroscience and Sociology was fully apparent to me so I went on to pursue a degree in Psychology, graduating in 2004 from U.C. Berkeley. With the hopes to do post-graduate work in Marriage and Family Therapy in the back of my mind, my post-college journey led me elsewhere. First into the operations world of investment banking, and commercial real estate, 10 years of working on a Tech Start-Up with my (then) husband, and discovering the ACCD's Transformational Coaches Academy. TCA was a turning point where I learned invaluable strategies to guiding others toward personal growth and fulfillment.
When I'm not busy playing event planner/matchmaker, find me on the soccer field, at the piano, or driving around town to my kids’ sporting events. Hopefully, I will get to see you or one of your close friends at one of our upcoming events! My commitment is to curate a database of diverse awesome people and plan events for singles while offering coaching and private match-making services. Our goal as a team is to create the most authentic and comfortable space to genuinely connect singles without pressure or expensive fees.

Hello there! I'm Sarah, wife of 18 years, a proud mother of four, retired photographer, and one of the founders of Catch.

My journey into matchmaking was sparked by my deep passion for people and forging meaningful connections. As a retired photographer, I've spent years capturing moments of love and joy, which has given me a profound understanding of what truly makes relationships flourish.

When I'm not busy driving my kids around, planning a party or playing matchmaker, you'll likely find me where I'm the happiest...in the sun, next to water surrounded by people I love.  And if there's one thing I love more than the sun, it's staying active and fit.  I believe that taking care of our bodies is key to living our best lives.

But my greatest joy comes from bringing people together.  I thrive on creating memorable experiences where connections can blossom.
